The Zampoña is a traditional Andean panpipe. It accompanies the folk music of the high Andes, where it is widely used. It is one of the main instruments in Andean music. Andean music comes from the ancient Inca empire.

 

This is a professional Zampoña. It is called Malta and It is made with 13 selected bamboo pipes by Fortuna Ramos.

This zampoña is tuned in Mi menor (E minor) 440 Hz.
