Handcarved gourd maracas shakers
This pair of carved gourd maracas is handmade by Peruvian artisans. They depict fishes and palm trees.
Gourds full of seeds are natural and ecological maracas. They was used by shamans (Wizards) in curing cermonies.
Measures:
The two maracas are of roughly equal size, about 7" (18 cm) x 2.5" (6.5 cm) aprox.
