This pair of carved gourd maracas is handmade by Peruvian artisans. They depict a llama and native people.
Gourds full of seeds are natural and ecological maracas. They was used by shamans (Wizards) in curing cermonies.
Measures:
The two maracas are of roughly equal size, about 12" (30cm) x 2.4" (6cm) aprox.
